Janetta Glenn

Yoga Teacher

Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy

Janetta teaches Hatha Yoga and is contemporary in her approach. The style is fluid, dynamic and graceful with a strong emphasis on cultivating the breath. The practice restores vitality, builds strength, eliminates stress and enhances mental alertness and clarity.

Students are guided in a safe, calm and progressive way. The process of awakening the body’s energy to its full potential is facilitated in the teaching.

Janetta has been studying Hatha Yoga for over 30 years and was trained by Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete) completing a 3-year full-time apprenticeship with him. She also holds a graduate certificate in Yoga Therapy.

From 2021-2022 Janetta was involved with a research project with the University of Sydney within the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health. The focus of the research project was optimising better health and balance for people over the age of 60.

For the past 17 years, Janetta’s interest moved more into meditation and spirituality under the guidance of Samuel Sagan, MD, PhD. She has integrated aspects of this into her teaching and is an accredited ‘Inner Space Techniques’ practitioner which includes a set of therapeutic and healing techniques based on the inner space of meditation.

Janetta teaches our Realign Hatha Yoga class on Wednesdays at 6pm and Reconnect Hatha Yoga class on Fridays at 4pm.
