Four years on from joining the team at RedoHealth, I have enjoyed sharing and developing our holistic approach to physiotherapy care.
We see clients, with a wide range of conditions both acute and chronic, whom we treat with a combination of exercise, education and skilled hands-on techniques as required. Whether it is your back, your knee, ankle or wrist, post-surgical, arthritis or systemic issues we ascertain and address what is most important to you.
My background is in showing people how their everyday habits and activities impact them which is pertinent whether the person is presenting with an acute strain or injury or coming in with something more longstanding. Sometimes we are unaware how the way we move in our lives and also how we live our lives is impacting how our body is feeling and performing. You can think of your body as this magical marker of how you are living. My job is to help you to connect with that.
Having graduated in 1996 from the University of Sydney with Distinction I have honed my skills working with both individuals and groups in a variety of settings including Physiocise, Happy Body at Work, Rugby Australia and Cricket NSW. My unique style is always evolving, personal, caring, engaging and effective.
I completed a Graduate Certificate of Higher Education in 2021 and have taught at the undergraduate level at Australian Catholic Universities for seven years. Recently I also began teaching into the doctorate physiotherapy program at the University of Sydney.
I grew up in country NSW on a farm where I rode motorbikes and horses and had my far share of bumps and falls! I have called Balmain home for most of my adult life and it is with huge appreciation that I get to work in this beautiful area as well.
I am available for both individual consults and small group physiotherapy classes.
