In order to keep our body happy, healthy and moving the older we get, it is advised that adults aged 18-64 should be aiming for:

👉 2.5 to 5 hours of moderate-intensity physical activity per week; or 1.25 to 2.5 hours of vigorous-intensity physical activity

🙌 We should also aim to carry out muscle-strengthening activities that involve all major muscle groups on 2 or more days per week
.
🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️Limit the amount of time we spend being sedentary; try replacing sedentary time with physical activity of any intensity!

😊 In meeting these guidelines, an individual will ensure positive and ideal health outcomes that their body will thank them for in the later years of life!
