In Sydney we are now in week 4 of our second lockdown. And it looks like we have a few more to go!

During our first lockdown there were two key things we observed with patients coming into the clinic:

- People moving much less
- People exercising much more

So instead of making the same mistakes we did back then, we’d like to help you do it better this time around – let’s “redo” it!

The human body is made to move!

If you are working from home and feel like you can't leave the house, you may find that you've been sitting for more extended periods than usual. Remember to get up and get moving.

Here is a small list of things you can do, even from home:
🧘‍♂️ 1 minute of standing heel raises
🧘‍♂️ 5 minute walk around the house - put the washing on, hang washing out
🧘‍♂️ 15 minutes of standing every hour
🧘‍♂️ 30 sit to stand squats a day
🧘‍♂️ 45 minutes of online Pilates, stretch/yoga or workouts
🧘‍♂️ 60 seconds standing on one leg for balance while the kettle boils!

Remember to get outside as well, get moving and breath some fresh air.
