Acupuncture is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an effective alternative medicine that can treat many health problems.
Traditional Chinese medicine supports the improvement of physical health conditions as well as affective disorders, strengthens the body’s resistance to disease to relieve acute and chronic symptoms.
Acupuncture uses thin, sterile, single-use needles to activate specific points along the channels and meridians of the body, gently and effectively restoring the flow of energy and relieving blockages. Once the balance is restored, the body is stronger and more resistant to disease.
The insertion of acupuncture needles into tender points with the aim for immediate release of muscle tension or trigger points. These do not always correspond to traditional acupuncture points.
