YOGA FOR TEENS

Yoga helps tweens and teens build the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle in a safe and non-competitive space. It is a perfect compliment to their busy academic and extracurricular schedule, connecting them with others and themselves in a fun and nurturing environment, and leaving them refreshed and ready for the outside world.

Our Teen Yoga classes aim to reduce stress and anxiety levels, improve fitness and physical health, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Practicing yoga for teens can be an important part of their development by providing the tools which will help them with managing their emotions whilst strengthening and stretching the body.

 

Classes are gentle and welcoming of all fitness levels with an emphasis on building awareness of the breath and body. Asanas (yoga poses) are practiced at a slower pace with attentions to alignment, awareness, meditation and mindfulness.

Starts: Tuesday October 22nd

Time: 4:30PM - 5:30PM

KIDS YOGA AND MINDFULNESS

Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Workshop

Looking for something fun, healthy and non-competitive for your child to experience? 

Join our Yogabudz Kids Yoga instructor DeeDee Connor, for her Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids workshop. 

Learn yoga poses, breathing, mindfulness mediation and relaxation techniques through storytelling, guided visualisations and dance.

Your kids will be taught techniques to assist them to relax, focus and become comfortable with their feelings and thoughts. 

Kids aged 5-12

Dates: Saturday October 12th

Time: 10:45AM - 11:45AM

Kids Yoga and Mindfulness 8-week course

Our Yoga and Mindfulness course will help your child develop healthy habits for a lifetime of wellness and happiness.


 Over 8 weeks kids will learn: 

  • Simple breathing techniques to slow down the nervous system, develop self-control and connect kids with their feelings.

  • Yoga poses to release energy, learn compassion and develop strength, concentration and self-confidence.

  • Games and processes that develop patience, mindfulness, compassion, leadership and other social/emotional skills.

  • Relaxation techniques and storytelling to calm the body and mind, and integrate physical, emotional and cognitive experiences.

TERM 4 STARTS SATURDAY OCTOBER 19TH

Kids aged 5-12

Time: Saturdays 10:45AM - 11:45AM

Dates: Starting Saturday OCTOBER 19th for 8 weeks

Investment: $130 ($2.62 online booking fee)

Drop-in class: $20
