RedoHealth Clinic Policies

Our goal is to deliver you an exceptional service providing you with the best in physiotherapy and massage therapy care. We pride ourselves in our professional manner and aim to maintain the highest level of service.

 

We have longer appointment times as our assessment approach allows us to find the specific driver of your pain/dysfunction allowing us to be both specific and targeted in our treatment interventions. As a result, you end up needing less treatment in the long term.

 

Financial Arrangements

Payment is due in full at the end of each treatment session. HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities are available for automatic claiming through your private health fund.

 

If you do not have your health fund card, we will provide you with a receipt for reimbursement. Work Cover, Third Party Insurance and DVA patient accounts will be sent directly to the appropriate body.

 

For Insurance claims, if liability for payment of treatment is ceased or denied you will be liable to pay any outstanding costs for treatment and will do so within 14 days of such notice.

 

Appointment Scheduling/ Late arrivals/ Missed appointments

Following your initial consultation, we will develop a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. In order to achieve your goals we ask that you schedule your appointments according to this plan.

 

Missed appointments will set you back in your recovery, so we ask that wherever possible you keep all your appointments.

 

Non-Attendance Policy

Please provide 48 hours notice of cancellation for your appointment.

 

The full consultation fee may be charged to your account if you do not show up for your appointment or if you choose to cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time. For repeated missed appointments, the full fee will be charged.

 

Considerations will be given for unforeseeable circumstances.

 

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your Personal Health Information may be collected, used and disclosed for communication with other treating medical professionals and referrers (e.g. personal trainers, Yoga instructors) for discussion with 3rd party insurers, or health insurance procedures and for use by all physiotherapists and massage therapists in this practice when consulting with you for legal disclosure as required by a court of law.

 

This practice adheres to National Privacy Principles (www.privacy.gov.au) and has a written policy and has a written policy for your perusal.

 

Mobile phones

Out of respect for those others receiving treatment or participating in classes when in session, please turn off your mobile phone.

 

RedoHealth Consent Policy

Your Informed consent is required for the examination and all treatment provided by this practice.

 

You may withdraw your consent at any time. 

 

Treatment will cease if consent is withdrawn.

 

If you become uncomfortable with your treatment at any time, please inform your physiotherapist or massage therapist.
